This paragliding, quad bike, camel ride and Agafay sunset dinner tour from Marrakech combines two distinct landscapes in one seamless day of adventure. It suits travellers looking to experience both the high peaks of the Kik Plateau from the air and the rocky expanse of the desert floor. You do not need any previous experience to join, making this multi-stage trip an accessible option for active couples, friends, and solo explorers.
Your day begins with a hotel or riad pickup in Marrakech, driving straight to the Kik Plateau for a tandem paragliding flight with an experienced pilot. You will spend around twenty minutes in the air, taking in views of the High Atlas foothills and the distant desert before landing. Afterwards, you transfer to the stony Agafay desert, where you are welcomed at a Berber camp with mint tea and Moroccan pastries.
The afternoon brings a complete change of pace as you receive a safety briefing and complete a quick training loop on a quad bike. You will then ride your quad across dry riverbeds and stony ridges with a guide, keeping the Atlas Mountains on the horizon. As golden hour approaches, you trade your vehicle for a traditional camel ride timed perfectly to catch the desert sunset.
To finish the evening, you sit down in the Berber camp for a traditional Moroccan dinner accompanied by local music around the campfire. The meal includes a vegetarian option, though you should bring your own funds for any extra drinks or personal expenses. Your day concludes with a comfortable return transfer back to your Marrakech accommodation.
This full-day trip is booked by request in either a private or small-group format, as flight confirmation is strictly subject to wind and weather conditions. - The paragliding flight launches from the Kik Plateau, not over Marrakech city. From the air you see the Agafay desert side and the High Atlas; the quad, camel and dinner then happen down in Agafay itself. The two stages are in different places and the drive between them is part of the day.
- Flights launch from the Kik Plateau and run around 20 minutes in the air, depending on the wind and thermals the pilot reads on the day.
- Flying is entirely conditional on wind and weather. If the date cannot be operated, we contact you promptly and offer the nearest suitable alternative date or time; if none suits you, you receive a full refund. We never substitute another experience without your agreement.
- The flight operator sets a maximum combined weight of 300 kg for two paragliding participants — a combined limit for the two people flying, not an individual passenger weight allowance. We do not publish an individual weight limit because we have not verified one. Minimum age and health restrictions are set by the operator and confirmed by our operations team after you book — guests with a medical concern should take medical advice first.
- Payment comes first: your booking is created as soon as you pay, then our operations team confirms the pilot, the camp and the other arrangements for your requested date. Payment received does not mean these are already confirmed.
- Tandem paragliding requires no prior experience, as you will fly with a pilot using provided safety equipment.
- Flights depend entirely on weather, and we will confirm the schedule before taking payment.
- Please bring closed-toe shoes with grip for paragliding and quads, plus a warm layer for the evening.
- The experience includes a Moroccan dinner with a vegetarian option, but lunch between the two stages is not included.
- We provide round-trip transport with pickups directly from your Marrakech hotel or riad.

Do I paraglide over the Agafay desert?
You see it from the air rather than fly across it. The flight launches from the Kik Plateau, which overlooks the Agafay side on one hand and the High Atlas on the other. The quad, camel and dinner then take place down in Agafay itself, after the drive.
Why is it €120?
€120 per person is our final direct-booking price for this full day — flight, quad, camel, dinner and all the driving between them. It is not a sum of separate tickets, and no further discount is added on top.
Can I do this in one day?
That is how it is designed — flight in the morning, Agafay in the afternoon and evening. You pay online when you book; our operations team then confirms both stages for your requested date.
What if the weather cancels the flight?
We contact you promptly and offer the nearest suitable alternative date or time. If none suits you, you receive a full refund. We never substitute another experience without your agreement.
Do I need paragliding experience?
No. It is a tandem flight: the pilot flies the wing, you are harnessed in front and only need to walk a few steps at launch.
Is lunch included?
No. There is a drive between the two stages and we can arrange a stop, but no meal is included between the flight and Agafay. Dinner in the camp is included.
