This Marrakech paragliding, camel ride and Agafay sunset dinner experience offers a peaceful alternative to motorised desert tours. It suits couples and travellers who want to pair the quiet thrill of a tandem flight with a relaxed evening in the desert. Your journey starts directly from your hotel or riad, taking you into the scenic landscapes surrounding Marrakech.
The day begins with a drive to the Kik Plateau for your tandem flight, where you will spend around twenty minutes in the air under the guidance of a pilot. From above, you can look out over the High Atlas and the edge of the desert. After landing, you transfer across to the stony hills of the Agafay desert, leaving the mountains behind for a completely different landscape.
Upon arriving at the camp, you are welcomed with traditional mint tea and Moroccan pastries before taking a walk to a desert viewpoint. As the afternoon light begins to soften, you join a camel caravan for a gentle ride timed perfectly for the sunset. The day concludes back at the camp with a traditional Moroccan dinner and live music around the fire.
Every transport connection is fully looked after, from your morning collection to the transfers between locations and your late-evening return. This private or small group excursion is led by a team speaking English, French, Spanish, Berber, and Arabic. While you fly with a tandem pilot, the desert portion of your day is guided by a local cameleer.
No previous paragliding experience is needed to participate, making it highly accessible for first-time flyers. You will need to bring closed shoes with good grip for the launch, along with long trousers for comfort on your camel. Since the desert cools down quickly once the sun sets, a windproof layer and warm clothing are recommended for the evening.

You see Agafay from the air rather than fly across it. The tandem flight launches from the Kik Plateau, overlooking the Agafay side and the High Atlas. Agafay itself is where the camel ride and dinner take place, after the drive.
This day has no engines. Same flight, same camp and dinner, but the desert stage is the camel ride and the sunset rather than quad biking.
€90 per person is our final direct-booking price for this day: the tandem flight, the transfer, the sunset camel ride, dinner in the camp and the driving. No further discount is added on top.
It is the combination we would suggest for couples: the flight in the morning, then the quietest part of Agafay in the evening.
