Full description

Some people want the view from the air without spending the rest of the day on a quad bike. This is that day. You get the same tandem flight over the High Atlas foothills, and then the quiet version of Agafay: a camel caravan through the stony hills as the light turns, and dinner in the camp.

As with all our aerial products, the two stages happen in two different landscapes. The flight is in the Atlas foothills where the slopes and thermals are; Agafay is the desert plateau you drive to afterwards. We do not blur the two together.

It suits couples, and it suits anyone travelling with someone who wants the desert evening but not the dust. The afternoon is deliberately unhurried: tea on arrival, the ridge viewpoints, the camels, then low tables and music around the fire.

Good to know before you book

  • The flight is in the High Atlas foothills — not over Marrakech city and not over Agafay. The camel ride and dinner are in Agafay, a separate area reached by road.
  • The exact launch field is the pilot's decision on the day, based on wind, so we do not publish a fixed site.
  • If conditions do not allow a safe launch we tell you before you pay, and either move the flight or run only the Agafay evening at its own rate.
  • Age, weight and health restrictions apply to the flight and are confirmed by the flight operator before we accept a booking.
  • Vegetarian and vegan dinner options are available if you tell us when you enquire.

Booking with Toubkal Views

  • You book directly with our local Marrakech team — no booking platform in between.
  • Questions answered on WhatsApp before and during your trip.
  • Your hotel pickup point and time are confirmed with you in writing before the tour.
  • Everything included and not included is listed on this page before you enquire.

Frequently asked questions

Is the flight over the Agafay desert?

No. The tandem flight is in the High Atlas foothills. Agafay is where the camel ride and dinner take place, after a drive.

How is this different from the quad version?

This day has no engines. Same flight, same camp and dinner, but the desert stage is the camel ride and the sunset rather than quad biking.

Why €140?

€140 per person is our set rate for this day: the tandem flight, the transfer, the sunset camel ride, dinner in the camp and the driving. The exact 5% direct-booking saving applies on top when you book with us rather than through a platform.

Is it good for couples?

It is the combination we would suggest for couples: the flight in the morning, then the quietest part of Agafay in the evening.

What if only one of us wants to fly?

That is fine. Tell us who is flying when you enquire and we price the day accordingly — the non-flying traveller joins the Agafay stage.
