This Atlas Mountains tandem paragliding flight from Marrakech offers you a half-day adventure soaring high above the Kik Plateau. Designed for travellers who want to see Morocco from a completely different angle, this experience requires absolutely no previous flying experience. You will fly strapped into a harness in front of a pilot who handles the navigation, making it ideal if you are looking for an introduction to paragliding.
Your experience begins with a private transfer from your Marrakech hotel or riad directly to the launch site on the Kik Plateau. As you gain altitude with your pilot, the landscape opens up to reveal terraced fields and dry river beds directly below you. You will enjoy views stretching across the High Atlas mountains on one side and the stony Agafay desert side on the other. The flight lasts around twenty minutes in the air, depending entirely on the day's wind and thermals.
Your safety and comfort are fully looked after with all paragliding equipment provided and a dedicated pilot guiding your flight. Private return transport is arranged specifically for your booking, ensuring you do not have to share your journey with other groups. Pilots can communicate in English, French, Spanish, Berber, and Arabic, helping you feel at ease during your pre-flight briefing. You can also bring your own camera or phone with a secure strap to capture your flight.
Because paragliding is completely weather-dependent, your flight is treated as a flexible, weather-led activity rather than a rigid timetable. We coordinate a morning or afternoon window with you via WhatsApp, and the pilot makes the final safety call on site. If conditions do not allow a safe launch, you do not fly and you do not pay for the flight. This half-day trip fits easily into your itinerary and brings you back to Marrakech with plenty of time left in the day.
