An hour inland from the Agadir beaches, the Tamraght river has cut a palm-filled canyon into the western High Atlas. Paradise Valley is the best-known stretch of it: smooth rock ledges, palm groves and pools of cold, clear green water.
The drive up passes through argan country, and we stop at a women's cooperative where you can see the nuts being cracked and pressed by hand before continuing into the mountains.
At the valley you have several hours to walk the canyon path, swim if the water level allows, and eat a tagine lunch on a terrace above the pools before the drive back to the coast in the afternoon.

Toubkal Views is run from Marrakech by a Moroccan team, not an overseas booking platform.
Your guide is from the region and knows the Agafay tracks, the Atlas valleys and the best light for photos.
Berber camps, mint tea, home-style tagine and music played by local musicians.
We collect you from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and bring you back at the end.
You talk to us directly before, during and after your trip — no call centre in between.
Tell us your dates, group and pace and we adapt the experience instead of selling a fixed package.
