Full description

Ten days from Casablanca is the itinerary we recommend when travellers say they want to see everything without living in the car. It covers the north, the desert, the mountains and the coast, and still leaves free days in the three cities worth lingering in.

You begin on the Atlantic and in the Rif, with Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes and a full day in Fes. Then the road turns south through the Middle Atlas and the Ziz Valley to the Erg Chebbi dunes for a camel ride and a night in a desert camp.

The final third is the kasbah route to Marrakech and then out to Essaouira on the Atlantic, before finishing in Marrakech. Everything is private and the pace is set by you.

  • Driving distances in Morocco are long; the itinerary is paced so each day includes stops, viewpoints and time to walk around.
  • Monument entrance fees are not included and are paid locally, so you only pay for the sites you choose to enter.
  • Accommodation is selected for comfort and location; we confirm the standard with you before booking and never name a specific hotel until it is reserved.
  • Anything not listed as included may require an extra payment — we will tell you the cost before you commit.

Frequently asked questions

Can we finish in Casablanca instead?

Yes — we add a transfer day from Marrakech or reorder the circuit so it closes in Casablanca.

Is this suitable for older travellers?

Yes. The pace is moderate, all transport is private and door to door, and we can shorten any driving day on request.

Can we add Agafay or a Marrakech city tour?

Yes — our Agafay desert evenings and Marrakech city tours slot straight into the Marrakech nights.

What is not included?

Flights, lunches and dinners outside the desert camp, monument entrance fees, optional city guides, insurance and tips.
