This Casablanca to Marrakech tour offers a direct and efficient way to cross Morocco from north to south over six days without backtracking. Ideal for travellers landing at Casablanca Mohammed V airport and departing from Marrakech, this private trip links the imperial cities, the Atlas Mountains, and the Sahara Desert. You will travel with your own private group of one to seven people, making it a highly personalised way to experience the country.
Your journey begins with a free pickup in Casablanca before heading along the Atlantic coast to Rabat to see the historic kasbah and gardens. From there, you travel inland to Fes, where you have a full free day to explore the ancient medina or hire a local guide to navigate the historic tanneries. Moving south, the scenery transitions through the Middle Atlas cedar forests, where you can spot Barbary macaques, and down into the Ziz Valley palm canyon before reaching Merzouga.
In the Sahara, you will ride a camel into the Merzouga dunes for sunset and spend the night at a desert camp. The route then leads west through the spectacular Todra Gorge and the Dades Valley, continuing along the road of a thousand kasbahs through Ouarzazate. You will spend your final night near the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the high Tizi n'Tichka pass to conclude your journey in Marrakech.
We look after all transport logistics with a private air-conditioned vehicle and an experienced English-speaking driver, with support also available in French, Spanish, German, and Italian. Fuel, tolls, road costs, overnight accommodation, and daily breakfast are fully covered, alongside bottled water in your vehicle.
