Private tour — your own vehicle and driver
This is the itinerary for travellers who only expect to visit Morocco once and want to see the whole country rather than one corner of it. Ten days lets the trip breathe: two nights in the desert region, a full day in Fes, an unhurried stay in Chefchaouen and time on the Atlantic coast.
You go south first for the kasbah route and the Erg Chebbi dunes, north through the Middle Atlas to Fes and the Rif, west to Rabat and Casablanca along the coast, and back down to Essaouira before returning to Marrakech.
Because the vehicle and driver are yours for the full ten days, the pace is yours too. Tell us where you would like more time and we will rebuild the days around it before you travel.
Day 1
Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades
Over the Tizi n'Tichka to the UNESCO kasbah, Ouarzazate and the Dades Valley.
Day 2
Dades → Todra → Merzouga
Gorges in the morning, dunes in the evening: camel ride and a night in a Sahara camp.
Day 3
Merzouga desert day
Dune sunrise and a day around the desert villages, dry lakes and Gnawa music of Khamlia.
Day 4
Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Fes
Ziz gorges, Midelt, the cedar forests of Azrou and arrival in Fes.
Day 5
Fes
Free day in the oldest medina in Morocco, with an optional licensed guide.
Day 6
Fes → Chefchaouen
Into the Rif; afternoon free in the blue lanes.
Day 7
Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Rabat
Roman ruins, imperial gates, then the Atlantic capital.
Day 8
Rabat → Casablanca → Essaouira
Rabat's kasbah, the Casablanca seafront, then south along the coast to Essaouira.
Day 9
Essaouira
Free day: ramparts, harbour, the medina and the beach.
Day 10
Essaouira → Marrakech
Argan cooperative stop on the road and drop-off in Marrakech.
No — it is the length most travellers wish they had booked. It removes the long back-to-back driving days and gives you free days in Fes, Chefchaouen and Essaouira.
Yes. We run the same circuit starting from Casablanca; tell us your flights and we will reorder the days.
Up to seven in one vehicle. For larger groups we add a second vehicle and adjust the quote.
Breakfast every day, plus dinner at the desert camp. Other meals are left free so you can choose where and what to eat.
Send your dates and hotel — we reply with availability and your pickup time.
Toubkal Views is run from Marrakech by a Moroccan team, not an overseas booking platform.
Your guide is from the region and knows the Agafay tracks, the Atlas valleys and the best light for photos.
Berber camps, mint tea, home-style tagine and music played by local musicians.
We collect you from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and bring you back at the end.
You talk to us directly before, during and after your trip — no call centre in between.
Tell us your dates, group and pace and we adapt the experience instead of selling a fixed package.
Every review of Toubkal Views is published on independent platforms, so you can read them exactly as travellers wrote them — nothing is copied or edited here.
