You travel in a private air-conditioned vehicle with your own driver, starting with a free pickup from your hotel, riad, or the airport in Marrakech.
Your route follows the classic path over the Atlas mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass to the UNESCO-listed kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. You spend your first night in the Dades Valley before exploring the Todra Gorge the following morning on your way to Merzouga. By late afternoon, you reach the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you board a camel to ride out for the desert sunset.
Unlike standard tours, you spend two nights at an en-suite desert camp featuring real beds, private bathrooms, and hot showers. Your full free day in the desert includes watching the sunrise over the dunes, visiting the Rissani area, and hearing Gnawa musicians in Khamlia. You can also choose to add optional activities such as sandboarding or a four-by-four dune circuit during your stay.
Your driver manages all road costs, tolls, and fuel, with guiding support available in English, French, Spanish, German, or Italian. Daily breakfast and dinners at the desert camp are fully included, while lunches, drinks, and monument entrance fees are paid separately. Warm layers are recommended for the cold desert nights, and you should bring light, loose clothing for the daytime heat.
This private booking guarantees your own vehicle and driver throughout the entire itinerary. The final day requires a long scenic drive of roughly nine to ten hours with stops to return over the Atlas. It is an ideal option for families or small groups of up to six people who want a dedicated private service to the Sahara.
