Why the medina is different

Most Marrakech arrivals are simple: the vehicle stops at the entrance of your hotel. The medina is the exception. It is a dense historic quarter, and a large share of its riads are reached through pedestrian lanes — derbs — that a car physically cannot enter.

This is not a service limitation and it is not something a transfer company can solve by promising harder. It is the street layout. What separates a good arrival from a stressful one is knowing, before you fly, where the vehicle will actually stop and what happens between that point and your door.

What we confirm before you pay

For a medina address we confirm in writing:

• the closest point a vehicle can genuinely reach for that specific address;
• that this point, not a generic square, is what the driver is being sent to.

What we deliberately do not do is claim your riad has vehicle access when we have not verified it, or promise a porter service we have not committed to.
